A want to crop a photo, but not like most of the programs make it (with a rectangular shape). Like for example I want to select only my body from a photo. What program should I use and tell me how!

Any graphic program should allow you to do that - including the Paint program that comes free with Windows. (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint)

It should have a freehand selection tool, where you (carefully) draw around the object that you want to "crop" to select it, copy the selection, and then paste it into another (or new) image.

Most program (sorry, not Paint) will also have a "magic wand" which allows you to click on an object, and it will select everthing that is the same color in the area where you clicked (or within a certain percentage of the color). This lets you selections objects without drawing around them. Again, you would then copy and paste into anothe image. You can use the eraser to clear a line around the object you want, and then select it with the magic wand. Often easier then trying to freehand draw around the object.

Picasa is one that is free and can be used to crop shapes....you could also try using MS paint and create the outline manually

i think phtoshop is the best in this field
