It happens when there is a hardware trouble. For that get your pc checked for the fan behind your SMPS, and the fan above processor. It they are OK, then try to go through the checklist of essential softwares.It also happens when you have conflicting software on your computer. Or If you do not have an Antivirus, antispyware, firewall. Or If your windows registry is filled with obsolete entries. Or If you have a lot of programs running at windows startup. etc.
Try to go through each problem seperately.
1)To begin with, click on start > run
type msconfig. Press OK
Click on STARTUP tab.
Uncheck all entries there. Press OK. Reboot the computer.
2)if possible uninstall some programs from your computer which are not essential.
(start > control panel >add/remove programs)
If your computer hangs doing that, then press F8 during reboot, and select to open the computer is SAFE MODE. Then uninstall some programs.
3) Download and install a registry cleaner.

After running the above program,you can remove obsolete entries from your windows registry.
4)You need an antivirus, an antispyware, and a firewall on your pc. In case you do not have, here is a suggestion.

i guess ur windows r corrupted maybe sum important files are mssing thats y it keeps on shuttung dwn everytime, try re-installing the windows, It has happned to me and it got well after i re-installed.
