Vista (with Aero GUI) requires 1Ghz CPU, 1Gb RAM and 128Mb Graphics Card and will cost hundreds of pounds. Linux Distributions are free and more secure. For older machines, Linux offers more stability and (in the last few years) better functionality than old Windows versions. They are also easier than ever to use and can run live which no Windows versions can.

My kids keep scratching the movies I buy and I would like to make a working copy so I have the original as a back up. I have tried the DVD buring program that came with my computer and it doesn't work because of copyright restrictions. Please help and advise me on how to do this....where to get this software and the right version. Thank you in advance!!!

I have always used IncrediMail. Everything I need is now gone. I had to uninstall IncrediMail. The teck told me I could reinstall it but so far that is not happening.

I want to turn off internet explorer. period. if you want a reason its because I get popups from ie all the time. I DONT want any answers to remove vundo or spyware or viruses, because i did all that and it helped very little. So please tell me how to TURN OFF Internet Explorer without uninstalling. (for a manual Windows Update) like maybe a process or something?? thanks
