If you kno the name of the infected file, boot safe mode (Reboot computer and click F8 before u see the xp logo with the blue blocks running across the screen) Log on, go to the file and delete it. The file u delete may affect a program or yur whole windows Operating sysyem so before u do this, backup yur important stuff on a cd or USBStick/Pen drive so in case windows crashes, u have yur information saved.

remove the whole program, not just delete, than re install

You should have deleted the viruses first.

run the nrt, it should delete the quarantine folders

Use spybot search and destroy ane its free.
