i want to make dvds as to watch them in a dvd player and i have some files in wma format in my laptop and i want them to convert them first into dvd format and then burn a dvd and use them in the dvd player

I have some digital performer files I composed and saved on several 3 1/2" floppy disks about 10 years ago. the disks were originally formatted on mac and the files can only be read by a mac-only program. inserting the disks into the floppy drive of a PC only gives me a prompt to format, which I obviously don't want to do. I tried accessing the files by plugging in an external USB floppy drive into a mac, and after several attempts on several different macs (all had OSX) with several floppy drives, it seems like OSX doesn't like to acknowledge floppy drives.

I'm almost positive that the files are still in good condition on the disks (they were stored well) and I'm very anxious to access those files, since I once again have access to the program that utilizes those files. the files are songs I composed about 10 years ago, but I hadn't recorded them to any audio media. now I'd like to convert them to mp3 files.

any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

ok so i just upgraded my itunes

before my upgrade, whenever i imported songs into my itunes, itunes would automatically file the song into an artist folder in my music.

in other words, itunes organized my "my music" folder by having a seperate folder for each artist, and did this AUTOMATICALLY!

now, i just imported a song, and its still sitting in my "my music" folder. itunes did not create a folder for that artist.

anybody know how to fix this.

if you do not understand what im saying, let me know and ill try to explain it again

My system when it works properly is a 'marvelous thing', when it doesn't....hoooooou ! It makes me wanna throw it out the balcony (jail is my only deterrent) and a lonely bridge overpass crossed my mind as well...jk.
But seriously can it be possible that Modzilla/ Firefox is a step ahead, a better browser ? would it take pains to get used to ?

My compter (with XP) tells me the administrator has disabled Task Manager. I probably did it accidentally. How can I enable it again.
