no the os is not coupretes. I have a wireless usb icon I delete that file now its like then sorry I forgot to tell earlier.

no the os is not corrupted. I have a wireless usb icon in that hard drive probabIy because I was trying to set up network printer. I delete that file now its missing icon earlier.

frist try this shut down the pc not restart shut down wait 1 min then put it back on , as it is starting up look on the screen to see if it is showing up there if not you need to check the cable on the hard drive

may be your operating system is corrupted. Back up your data and re install operating system
