I cannot download Yahoo Messenger on my computer. I uninstalled it because at a time if people called me I wouldn't hear them. Ever since, I can no longer reinstall it. I do not know why.

I have deleted localnet via the add & remove program, yet a lot of files, directories, folders still remain causing conflicts with my Yahoo service. At times localnet appears instead of Yahoo whenever I log into Internet Exployer. Got any suggestions? I would appreciate them greaty. Thx, sals70

If anyone has, or knows where to get, a crack or a temporary code for this program, please help me out. I lost my sister-in-laws newborn baby pictures, and if she finds out EVERYBODY will give me all kinds of pain!
I suppose any suggestions for another similar program would be great too.

My guess is that the problem has to do with the incoming mail server, which I have listed as mail.yahoo.com. Do I have the server name wrong, or what?

And while we're at it, it's going to ask me for an outgoing mail server, for which I'll list smtp.yahoo.com:my_email_name. Right? If not, then what?

I've one ad-ware on my PC which is in the system tray beside the clock, right-bottom coner of the screen.

it shows the Stop sign and "?" sign alternatively in a circle. It also shows that "Critical System Error!!". then sometimes there is a note pop up as saying

"System Alert: Malware threats
Your computer is infected with a back door Trojan that allows the remote attacker ......"

and when i click on the blinking sign it goes to this web-site:

I've used the spybot software to remove but couldn't!!
i believe this is an ad-ware, or am i in trouble?
please help, as i am totally lost, thanks in advance for answering.

I have movies stored on my computer, but every time I open one up, a message comes up that says "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem." It says this statement every time i open up any type of movie or video file. I have tried uninstalling and installing again, but it doesn't seem to work. I have Windows Media Player 11. No matter what movies I watch, it seems to open up that message and I click send error and close, and then it closes Windows Media Player down. If anyone would know as to why this would happen or how to correct it, please let me know. I can't watch any videos now on my computer using the program.

I have a copy of Gentoo Livecd installer in ISO format (.iso) I want to know how do you write ISO file to a blank cd can we just drag and drop using Nero or any special metod.
2) how to install Gentoo to pc- can it load automatically to pc like knopix cd where you dont have to install any thing. it just loads from the cd. or do i have to install like other os
