If anyone has, or knows where to get, a crack or a temporary code for this program, please help me out. I lost my sister-in-laws newborn baby pictures, and if she finds out EVERYBODY will give me all kinds of pain!
I suppose any suggestions for another similar program would be great too.

I've had the full-blown version of Restorer2000 for many years, and it is well worth the meager registration fee. While the 'free' version may have changed since then, it used to recover smaller files (such as JPGs) without registration.
All things considered, I use my copy quite frequently (more than one might imagine) and it's recovered files from 40 meg drives that have been stuck in my closet for more than a decade. A lot of software isn't worth the drive space it occupies, but Restorer2000 is more than worth registration.
