As far as I know, once you have overwritten the file you want to recover,it's too late.

Just like on a hard drive, if you haven't overwritten a file, there are programs you can buy that will recover a file even if you have deleted it. But once you have written over the file or the space that the file occupied, it's too late and the file is lost. To be honest, those recovery programs didn't work that well anyway and I always felt that once you deleted a program (and tossed it from your recycle bin) you had less than a 50/50 chance of recovering it.

Maybe someone out there knows a program about which I am unaware and can recommend a method to recover your file. But I wouldn't get my hopes up. Based upon how I interpret what you have described, I think you are out of luck.

Restore your computer

By doing so.. it will reset your pc to the last upload of files or last installation of software or hardware..

To do it, Click start> programs> accessories> system tools> system restore.

Follow system restore/backup wizard.

Be careful of doing so!!!!

Hope I helped... Hope we learn
