Interesting thought. YA has not violated your freedom of speech, you are using a property of Yahoo! which has graciously allowed you to express your opinion in a civilized manner. Since they are the property owner they can dictate the terms by which they are used. They have not in any way silenced you, you could go off create poster or a web sight, without any repercussion from YA. As such you still have your freedom to say what you want. AS to your other points, there are alway going to be those that manipulate the system, they are wrong to do this. But becasue someone does one does not mean the other also happens. I report people for violations all the time, I have on eaccount, And if you wish to speak to me civilly you can contact me by email. But if you want to get vulgar I will block you. Simple as that. I believe we can all be civilized, and although the world has turned away from civility, I think we may be able to bring it back if more of us endeavor to do just that. Reporting those who speak uncivilly is just one way to start.
