i have cucusoft avi to dvd converter which works fine. but when it goes to the cucusoft mpeg to dvd burner, i run into problems. theres this place where it says DVD +/-RW ROM and i try to select one, but nothing is displayed? do i need to have something there im only burning the vob files to my c drive? cuz ill just skip that and hit burn at the bottom, and itll actually get like 99% through and then itll say 'no DVD +/-RW ROM' and it wont finish burning them to VOBS? so yeah if somebody knows something about that or knows how i can skip straight from avi to dvd without having to convert all this crap, that would help too.

I'm wondering whether there are any security features of Firefox that IE doesn't have that make it fundamentally more secure. The only thing I keep hearing is that Firefox is more secure because attackers spend more effort exploiting IE than Firefox, but that's not an inherent benefit to Firefox (if everyone switched, then the attackers would just attack Firefox).

ive got a mad dog external burner and lots of avis. have nero too. hoping somebody could walk me through what programs i can use to convert an avi to a vob that i can burn to a dvd with nero. ive used cucusoft before but have run into problems. wanna know what programs other people use that really work.

If you have one track that's got say, a beach sound effect, and a second track that's got some trancey beat, how in Garage Band 3, would you gradually turn down the beach sound effect, so the trancey one can take over? bad example I know, but it gets my point across, lol :P

Formatted pc, had backed up what I thought was everything.. but oh no.. I lost half my important programs because I labelled a disc wrong! I don't think I've ever formatted a pc AND managed to keep all my programs!

I use Outlook Express for my e-mails (not the Microsoft version but the one that comes standard on most computers) I have hundreds and hundreds of e-mails from business contacts that I need to be able to save. So, for each person I have a folder in outlook that I save all the e-mails in. When I need to save them to disk, I manually transfer them (drag and drop to a folder for each person on my computer)

So my questions are:

1). Is there a way that would be easier to save all my e-mails over and get them on to disk rather than doing it all by hand?

2). When I get a new computer, is there any way to have these folders automatically created in outlook so I don't have to create a new one for each person again (this would also apply to my address book)

It seems to me like there would be a way to do this, I just have no idea how.

I purchased two years of Norton Antivirus for my computer. I am looking to get a new computer. I purchased the program off of the website, so I don't actually have the software. Is there any way to transfer it between computers or is it kind of stuck on the computer it is on?

Hello,
when I shut down my computer on standby and then return later to access it again . It gives me a blue, white screen with lot's of bla bla bla on it.
It is only for a short second on. The only thing sofar I was able to decipher was : If you out of hardware space than run defrag. Didto I did that.
Than further, your BIOS needs updating?? Is this caused by a virus or an internal problem of the BIOS system.? I have a Sony PCV 7752 model. Desktop PC.
Please I need help , it's beginning to bug me. Any ideas where to go for upgrading BIOS?????

1) Look at my answers and questions, i like Yahoo, and would not screw that up
