Software - July 2006

When BearShare was installed on one of my systems it also installed something called Zango. Is this safe? Can it be removed without affecting BearShare?

I am working on our church directory and need to be able to put the family picture in and under this post names, addresses, phone numbers, birthdates of family members. We had a well known company come in and try to do this but they did not offer what we wanted. So, we are trying to do it ourselves. Any thing that is not real expensive would be appreciated. Hope to have several options to look at. Thanks!

I hav .Net 2003 ,As i select "new project" -->window application then My blank solution cannot get created and it just crash with the following 2 error message :

Has anyone used Knoppix/Linux live cd?

Do you think it's possible to store a light weight version of Knoppix and some hdd formating software etc on a spv to boot the pc using the usb connection? or is the usb driver a problem?

I have numerous files of documents which I want to scan in and place in a database. They each have a number of 'key words' which I would like to index so a search will pull up all the relevant documents.
Any suggestions very welcome........

While I was at neopets earlier I got a popup, then my computer froze briefly. I recently crashed my computer due to having a virus and I haven't downloaded anything other than the newest version of flash and stuff. I have the only account on this computer but when I try to bring up task manager it says my computer administrator has disabled it. Also my background turned black and says something about my computer being in danger! I'd like to know where I can get a free antivirus program, and know how to be able to use task manager again. If iyou need to know, I have windows xp.

I have a report in my MS Access contacts database, which filters out just the people that I want to send Xmas cards to. I have a button on my switchboard that I want to be able to click and print the labels. Here is my problem:
Linked to the button is the following (two line) macro:
OpenReport (Report Name: "rpt Xmas Card Labels", View: "Print")
PrintOut (Print Range: "All", Copies: "1")
However, whenever I run the macro, I get a printout of the correct labels, followed by a printout of the entire switchboard. Even if I insert an extra line at the beginning of the macro to close the switchboard, it still prints out the entire switchboard after the labels. I have tried using "Select Object" to specify which form to print, and then it prints the labels, but ends with an error, saying that the object it is trying to print isn't open. Surely this must be a simple enough task! If anyone can point out what I am missing, I'd be grateful. Thanks.

I haven't used Excel in years and I've totally forgotten how to do this. What do I put in the "fx" line or how do I type in the formula if I want, for example
Column A line 3 is 2.99
Column B line 3 is 12% of Column A
Column C line 3 is 7% of Column A, and
Column D line 3 is the total of A, B & C and then this would continue on the next line but with a different starting figure.
Eg.
----------------A------B-----C-----D
First line:-- 2.99 0.36 0.21 $3.56
Second:--- 3.99 0.48 0.28 $4.75
Third:------- 4.99 0.60 0.35 $5.94
Does anyone know how the formula goes????
