Use "Adobe Acrobat Professional". This software offer you an imaginary printer (As an icon in your printers area) that you can printing your document by this printer, then you'll have your document in "PDF" format.
Also this software has a lot of useful options for managing your PDF files, linking them together, Adding some media, etc.
This software is supported by "MS Word", "Acad", "Excel", etc. completely.
