I am trying to buy a laptop right now and I am stuck on what type of chip I should put into it. I plan on buying Windows Vista when it comes out, but I don't know whether chips like Celeron or Sempron are compatible with Vista. My guess is that the only chips that will be compatible will be the more expensive chips (ie. Intel Core, Athlon 64). But if not, it might help me save a buck or two. Help would be greatly appreciated!

A recent problem/confict between an earlier version of Macromedia Flash Player & my Operating System ( Win XP Prof incl SP2 + subsequent updates) resulted in my uninstalling Macromedia Flash Player. Now, I can't vew news clips etc, displayed by New Zealand's main ISP ( XTRA) & I receive a message saying you don't have the latest Flash player installed, click here to get " Macromedia Flash Player". When I click on the link I keep getting taken to Adobe Flash Player download site. Has Adobe taken over Macromedia?.. or can anyone help explain please. Thanks

I know how to download SP2, but where can I get SP1 only?

I was given a site but as it turned out, that site did not have SP1 only.....althought the person who provided it thought it did.

I downloaded Windows Live Messenger BETA 8.0, and after a while of using it, it said error and gave me a code saying 8004005. So i downloaded it again and it came up with the same code!
