There are three options that can help you here. First the program it self might have an option to turn off autoloading. The setup of the program is the first place to look.
The second place to look is in the Start|All Programs|Startup. Here you will find shortcuts to some programs that start during the operating system start up.
The third place is a little trickier to work with. This will depend on how comfortable you are editing the registry. If you want to explore this option and are comfortable with registry editing drop me an email and I will give you where to look.

Reducing the number of programs that automatically start with Windows will shorten the start-up/boot time.
To stop these programs: click Start, Run. Type in ‘msconfig’ (without the quotes) and click OK. Click the Startup tab.
You will see a list of programs. Many of the names are difficult to decipher. You can find a list of entries and their explanations at:
http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php
Uncheck the boxes for the programs you do not need. Click Apply and then click OK. Be careful not to eliminate needed programs.

You'll need to clean your registry. Ask Microsoft Product Support for help. Or just take your computer to a specialist because you can brick your machine by messing with the registry. If you're feeling brave, go to run in the start menu and type in "regedit". Somewhere in the tree diagram on the left are the startup values of the individual programs that are popping up everytime you restart. Delete them and get out of there fast! I don't reccomend doing it, though.

On most programs there is a icon you can check that says something like "open when windows boots up" or something similiar. By unchecking that box you can make them stop loading when Windows boots. Another way to do this is to inquire at www.techguy.org and post your problem, you will get fast and professional responses.

Click start, run, type in msconfig, go to the startup tab, and uncheck the programs you do not want to load on startup. If you are not sure, put the programs name in the google search engine, and it will tell you what it is used for..Do not uncheck any anti-virus, firewall, or any anti-spyware programs..good luck..
