i've got the old messenger and the new 7.5 version, ne1 know how to delete the old 1 as windows won't let me!

I remember that Canon used to provide that option with its scanners. I have new equipment now and can't get that feature up and running. It saves tons of paper around our office.

I got this problem where my desktop stored many picture file which total take over 1GB of space. Now I would like to transfer these infor into my PDA (normally wouldn't have much space), file side small doesn't matter, as long as I can see it.

remember creative got a software for that... but can't remember anymore. can u help to give me a good solution!! APPRECIATE!!!!

Cannot read from the source file or disk.’ Some of the files originating from exactly the same source were successfully copied.

I can create a shortcut of one of the problem files onto the hard drive. When I try to use the shortcut to open the document in Word I get prompted for a password, type in the password but another refusal message appears. All this is very slow—you see the hourglass for minutes and can hear the CPU churning-away.

Important question: is this a virus matter? Can you tell me how to solve the problem from the ground up? How would you perform the purging? Or else are these files doomed? Are we all doomed on this planet??? [EVIL LAUGH]

For example if you install Oracle engine and/or database on a 25GB drive, the performance is much better rather than on a 500GB drive, using the same hardware configuration!!!

on letting my mate use my p.c for the night,he decided upon himself to download and install several updates from the microsoft download center(security updates)
my question is will any extra or unnecessary updates harm my system or shall i not worry about it
they were proper updates from microsoft,he said they were from the first 4 pages of security updates
any ideas?

1.) Open an empty notepad file
2.) Type "Bush hid the facts" (without the quotes)
3.) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it, and re-open it.
See what happens, isn't it a weird bug?

Can someone explain why it happens ?
