For example if you install Oracle engine and/or database on a 25GB drive, the performance is much better rather than on a 500GB drive, using the same hardware configuration!!!

That doesnt make any sense. Thats like asking if installing one program on Windows on a 60GIG hard drive will work more efficiently than on a hard drive with 200GIGs.

It doesnt matter what the volume is. It depends on how much data you put into the Server and the processing speed of your Server.

Database perfomance depends upon number of parameters --
query/ or pragram to run
main config file optimization
db design
query optimization

More drive space adds to performance by putting more data blocks, but will not degrade the performance.
