I got this problem where my desktop stored many picture file which total take over 1GB of space. Now I would like to transfer these infor into my PDA (normally wouldn't have much space), file side small doesn't matter, as long as I can see it.

remember creative got a software for that... but can't remember anymore. can u help to give me a good solution!! APPRECIATE!!!!

One of the links that comes up is to Microsoft's site.
Here you can download a utility called Image Resizer.
It's free. Install it.
Now, select your pictures, right click and you will have an option to resize those pics to diff size. It does add the word "large" "medium" or "small" to your new smaller files.

Another option is to install Picasa, from GooglePack.

Don't bother compressing them. You won't get a good compression ratio because JPEGs are already compressed. I don't know what you can do besides opening each one in an image editor and saving it again with lower resolution or a higher compression rate.

Open the bitmap image in paint or some editing program. Go to File >> Save As >> **** and choose JPEG in the bottom of the box where you type the File name

if you have photo shop you can shrink one down to what ever size you want adn do them all that way and if you want after you do one you can tell photo shop to do them all liek that so its saves you the time
