I want to become a UnixSysAdmin but have no on the job experience, what is the best way to enter this career field with few or no college classes?

I have a program that I made that I want to use when you get to the Windows® login screen, when you return from screen saver, and when you lock your computer. The program asks for a set password. Is there any way to have the program run at the certain events?

I love WMP10. I've been using it religiously ever since it came out. So, needless to say, I was skeptical about the announcement of WMP11. That skeptisicm was reinforced after looking on here and seeing all the "How do I uninstall WMP11??!1!?" questions.

So, my question is this: if you like v.11, why and what about it do you like, and is it really better than v.10? And if you dislike it (as most on here seem to), how come? Does it really suck that bad, or is it because it's just still in beta? Or does it need Vista to really live up to its full potential?

ive reboot my system but its still the same the modem lock is still on red back round its like that when im not connected & when i on the internet? when i click up the menu on the modem lock i cannot click on unlock modem or lock it.... has they both are in dull writing (so i cant click it) if they was in black writng it means i can click on to it but in my case dull writing i cannot???? please do a step by step has im hopeless on pcs thankyou.

Basically, everything is perfect, but after the intro cut scene I start playing for a few seconds and it just freezes. Not really freezes, but runs so slowly and choppy as if it were frozen *but it was perfectly smooth for a five seconds or so just before*. I've reinstalled the game, closed all background apps, and even tryed playing on a different account, but the problem still persists. On top of all this, I'm using a Windows XP pro Alienware, which is supposed to be known as the ultimate gaming computer because of its top of the line parts an assembly.

Can anyone help me on this? Plz? ^_^;

Last week I posed several questions about the running of my computer...all but one I have solved with your help.Thankyou .I have the following installed.... antvirus ccleaner...adware...spy...protection...and have bought some ram...my computer is now running like a dream...except for the fact I am quite often still getting..Virtual Memory Low...I only use my computer for fun...learning and emailing pals...I do not download much at all...mostly watch video clips and such on BBC web.Why am I still getting these messages ?Does any one know.....Simple answers Please...I have a simple mind as far as computers are concerned.

Every once in a while I will run into a stuck program that will not die - no matter if I right-click and close or run task manager and click the program and click end program. Today Firefox was in just such a hung state and even attempting to kill the processes (having tried the other methods) would not work. After a half hour of screwing with this I had to reboot with the power switch because I couldn't close the thing down for the stuck process. Tips on killing the unkillable?

Whenever I try to download Acrobat PDF flies onto my computer it always takes forever for it to finish. What can I do to fix it? What are some of the possible problems? I have the lateset version of Acbrobat. This doesn't happen all of the time just about 30% of the time.
