ok i have win2k and on the bootup menu (where u go to boot up in safemode) uhh there is a option that says boot logging what is it and also another option is winodws directory services restore mode what is that
??

It's just to record to the log file when you login, each time you login it will be written to the log file.
Used for troubleshooting your boot problems.

it saves a log file of the boot process (the start up of your pc) to help you fault find if you have problems
