i also download yahoo messenger 8 n it work fine . i think u should re download it

Check your audio subsystem. Are microphone, loudspeakers, and/or headphones connected and working? Maybe you want to check this with other audio applications. If you have more than one, make sure to select the proper audio source and/or audio subsystem.
