Order the Video Professor series. I got that and loved it. It wasn't that expensive and VERY easy to use.

This is a very good site were you may find excellent video tutorials for all the most used apllications (Microsoft or not). They offer the CD or a subscription where you pay month by month for as long as you want and have access to everything during that time.

http://www.lynda.com/ has self based video lessons for Microsoft Word and Excel. It's low cost and high quality.
