Through Windows Live One Care it says configure backup. Last backup not yet performed. What does it mean, is it necessary, what do I do step by step.

I was on my PC when suddenly this message came up saying "Drwtsn32.exe had 2 b terminated, we are sorry 4 any lost work" or something like that. & it also had the "Don't Send" or "Send" option for sending an error report to Microsoft. & then the same error message for "Windows Explorer" came up. By this time my desktop was sort of frozen as the cursor on the mouse was just stuck on the sand timer. I then pressed 'CTRL, ALT + DELETE' and after a good 5 minutes the task manager had opened up. The problem was still happening in the background as the cursor sandtimer was still there and all my icons and Taskbar from the desktop had disappeared. After quickly searching through the processes on
the task manager i had located the 'Drwtsn32.exe' program that was running and immediately terminated the process. After i had done this everything immediately went back to normal. Then i ran a full depth virus scan with NOD32 but nothing had been detected. Is there a virus on my PC? What shud i do?

Is it possible to find a website visited over a year ago. I have no ideal of the name of it but know what I was looking for. I moved and was off the computer for a few months and then got a different email. Is the website stored on my computer somewhere. If so how can I find it with just one key word?

I had a web site with anglefire about ten years ago but the problem was the web addy was so long i just said forget it (and so did most people tring to find it). i have a myspace and a facebook but i'm really looking for just a "somthing.com" that can just be acessed and not connected to something else, It is just a sole site that i can build (and free too)

any sugesstion please.

Can't access the internet, have a guest account..
I tried the safe mode but it still asks for a stupid password!
I have no OS cd too.

(My mom put a password and she forgot it?) Now I'm in charge I don't know what to do!!)

Security center has alerted Nod32 v2.7 is out of date. I could not do any update from eset's site. I also can't install window live onecare. My disks are dynamic disks. Security alerts elevated to its highest level since April. What can I do to resolve this problem? Thanks a bunch if you guys can help me! I purchased Nod32 v2.7 since april, not even a year yet.

I'm using the verizon security suite and out of no where it wasn't coming up. So I did a system restore and that got it back but now it came up with a message saying that the anti spyware couldnt start and doesnt even give me that option to turn it on, its not even there any more. The antivirus and firewall seem to be fine, its only the anti spyware. How do I fix this? And are there any sites I can go to that are free and SAFE that will scan my computer for spyware and delete it??

Besides goign through all my songs and pictures, i want to like clean it all out... get rid of all the hidden programs/files etc.. I ditn know what to do, I don't want to wreck anything!

Well if your pretty good at computer stuff,Its alot like "WinFixer"
and if your not. Happy to Explain it. Its a virus that is unseen and undetected by most virus scanners only certain ones work. The virus is Mal-ware and installs itself and cannot be seen by the user. Its Pop-Ups that lie and try to say that computer has a
virus. It can open IE without the users permission.
And it spreads Mal-ware throughout the system until it is fixed.
Its is very annoying and controlling. I ususally can just run my Norton Antivirus and its gone but not that easy. My computer friends arent getting anywhere. Plus ive tryed spybot,spydoctor,AVG,vundo fix,and other programs. none work. Please help me with this issue and most of this stuff comes from WIKIPEDIA so. PLEASE HELP ME IVE EVEN CALLED SYMANTEC!!!!!

I know there is some sort of program, but I recently bought a MacBook and I have had a wireless router and I'm figuring out i don't need a password to get on it. I think you need wireless network security to get a password right? What would be some good software options that are not expensive or better yet free? Please and thank you

Limewire is illegal, and they say that the only way you can get into trouble is if some person comes to your house to repair your computer or something, and they find out that you have limewire installed.
but if you uninstall limewire and delete everything before they come to look at your computer, could you still get in trouble?

I registered and paid $39.99 with Regcare.com and also downloaded the 90 day free trial of Windows onecare.com. But this Trojan virus won't shift. My pc is so slow because of it.

i have been trying to connect my pc to my xbox 360 with no luck, i then decided to turn my firewall off to see if this would make a difference, it did. it now picks up the pc through my xbox but it means i have to have the firewall turned off constantly. is there any way to bypass this? any contributions would be much appreciated
