I am very confused about this. I've always thought that a cracker needs more than just an IP address to actually hack, but I've heard it both ways.
I'm basically wondering if your IP address is really super-sensitive information.

okay so I play this one game and I have been reported to the GM....there is no doubt that soon I will be banned from the server as soon as the GM reads the message from the guys who reported me..... so I already deleted that account....cuz the account sux anyways..

I have another account which is really good, so I dont want to get an IP ban
I want to block my IP if the GM can still somehow track it, then I can still play on that server

If you know a good program please tell me

Ok, for some reason, I was being really stupid and downloaded a spyware attacker that gave me spyware!!!!!!!!!!! And now there is constantly a little alert on my toolbar that is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point on it, and it says, Security Alert: Spyware found. And whenever I click on the bubble, it takes me to a friggin donload site!!!! Does any1 know how to get rid of this.......

One alert is a flashing triangle that says run our anti spyware software, the other is from stop sign anti-virus. I have run a few programs and nothing seems to work. The programs I have used are CClean, SpyBot, hijackthis, and ad aware. My homepage always goes to gomyron.com and then changes drivercleanup or another junk site. When I run spybot in safe mode it always comes up with two spy programs frist is IEREPORT and Microsoft.Windowssecuritycenter_disable.

Hey. My school has seriosuly blocked every proxy out there..when you try to get on something it says blocked by anonymizers.

For all those people to say to stay off when ur on school.. this is when im on spare..so save it.

For all others who are looking for the same thing, my school i sware has the highest blocks there is and this one worked before people opened there mouths..

I have AVG free antivirus and I don't know if it has everything to keep my PC safe. Is the Free EZ Armour Security Software any better, or can you recommend one that is free and covers everything? Thanks!

I want to create a website about free softwares. So i will be writing reviews about those softwares (only freewares) and giving out the link to other software sites. For an example if i write about SpyBot Search and Destroy i will give da link of the original home page for them to download. Is this illegal? My place of work just blocked all Fantasy Sports with the above mentioned Web Filter. I currently have 2 baseball teams and will have several football teams in the near future that I would like to check up on at work from time to time, but I can't because it's blocked. Is there a safe way to get around the filter without them knowing about it?

I have read a lot of pages about these kids like 14-18 making virus's and distrubuting them to there school's server. My son's school uses PowerSchool and PowerGrade to manage the attendence and grades but they run on the same server as the students accounts do, so are they that stupid that they may be puting there grades, social security numbers, telephone numbers, and all the other stuff the school stores on the server? It just doesnt make any sense. I guess thats why i have to download my antivirus updates each night and morning...

Ok, everytime when I log on to myspace and then when I click on sign out and then after I click on X to close, it keeps saying the memory cannot be opened.. An IP keeps getting blocked from my firewall. Two of them actually. They are 195.10.34.40 and 89.149.169.67

The thing that it keeps blocking is called a "SYN ACK"

What is this and what does it mean?
