I had a file uploaded to a server that was supposed to be a catalog??
But when I opened it it said ascll text with really long names?
I know nothing of ascll and not too much else either lol but could some explain in a 10yr old type explation how to change this format text into the catalog it was supposed to be? Please

i went to environment variables
and add
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0\bin;
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0\jre\lib\rt.jar;

still the problem prevails...

i went to start->run->sysedit

i saw nothin related to java there ...

what is the problem?

I'm dealing with processing of data.

Currently, I'm stucked with this dilemma. I have different set of strings as shown below.

Example:
String 1 = " at March 12, 2004 16:34 by Mark Jacobs";
String 2 = " at March 12, 2004 16:34";
String 3 = " March 12, 2004 16:34 by Mark Jacobs";
String 4 = "March 12, 2004 16:34 ";

I need just to extract the DateTime variable from the individual string. There is no problem of conversion for String 4 since it is quite a straightforward conversion. But my problem will be String 1, String 2 and String 3.

I'm coding it using C#.
Been pondering on how to deal with this for some time.

Hope someone can give me ideas or codes to deal with this.

I am writing module which redirects a user to a different website
based on some rules. Now we know that every request will go through that module. What about requests for images, css, javascript etc from the page requested. How can I stop those requests- it prolongs loading time of page. Request for content of the page should not go through the module.

I go to a main webpage and a pop-up automatically comes up. In the pop-up, there's a message and a link. When I click on the link, I want it to open up in the original window (where my main page is). Is that possible? Thanks!

I am needed to create a database in access then link it with visual basic, i have done that everething works i can scroll through the records all fine. But i have the following problems.

1. When i add custom buttons, such as "Next" "Back", say if its the first record and i go backwards, i get an error then i am asked to debug, how can i fix this?
2. If i have no records in access i cant seem to add any new records from visual basic to access, like i run the program, if there are 0 records in the database i click my add new button but whenever i enter something inside the text box then select the 2nd one the data disaprears.
3. How can i make the ADO link invizible? so you cannot see it when you run the program?

I've got a system with users who first log in, then they have to fill out a long form. After about 15-30 minutes, their session times out, and when they click "submit" on the form, it sends them back to the login screen and all their data is lost! I am thinking about putting in line of code in the beginning "restrict_access" library that stores the $_POST in a global variable before it checks for access/session timeout. Then, after a successful login, the stored variable gets put back into the $_POST for normal form processing...

Has anyone run into this problem before? How have you solved it?
