how to make a background image as a link in css?

hi ..
i have this free theme with image background on the header .. i want this image to be a link to my index page here is the code

I want this image to be a link for example when someone click on it he will go to yahoo.com

You can't attach a link to the image itself, but you can link from the block containing the background. So you could have

One think you might TRY to play with (or maybe it won't work) is a dot, with EXTREME padding, within that div, itself extremely padded, and the dot clickable, so that as a result the area is clickable...Be sure to test it in several browsers on several computers so's it looks okay!
