I am the owner of http://excessivecatholicism.blogspot.com. I am trying to make the background image (on the left) translucent/slightly faded so that I can superimpose the text links (on the right) over it such that the links will still be legible. Does anyone know of freeware image editing software that I could do this with? Or is there some Windows application that will do the job?

Does anyone know what is the problem in the following code? OleDbDataAdapter cannot update the datasource, and I cannot understand what the problem is.

I am a s/w eng. but currently not working on C++, i learnt the language during my MCA, and i was good on it.
