Brain bench is giving out certification free of cost till jan 31st. I've taken up ASP.NET and completed it successfully.

They say that its valid for three yrs from now. Is it really valid? Is this just a dummy certification? Can it be kept in my resume? What benefits do I have from this certification?

in my project to store program in 89c51 we need .hex file but we have only mnemonics n opcode of our program,how can i generate .hex file?

Note : i do no embedded c so please

if u know d exact format of .hex file please help me to generate d same using opcodes.

Hello, I am not able to execute a java program using the "java" command. I can compile the source files and, am able to create the .class file.

I got the key and everything but while I'm offline, the page displays javascript error like.."Object Expected".

I am looking for a program that will allow us email communications through an office network system that is not connected to the internet, thus allowing office members to communicate among each other (hopefully with an in-box, sent-box) but not through the internet, just an intranet (internal) communication on windows xp and 98 machines run through a switch, hub, or router if necessary, thanks !

i used adodb.connection and adodb.recordset for accessing the database (MS ACCESS) using vb and i use sql to find these records, im quite confused in making the transactions (save, add, edit, delete). before, i used the ado control to make a simple system, however the method of transactions here doesnt apply to the one im doing now, can anyone help me? ^_^

When the user enters a name and lets say they enter numbers, how do i make the above if statement work? I want the word "name" printed when they enter numbers into d.name...thanks

a. Turn off Offline Folder caching on the shared directory where roaming user profiles are stored to avoid synchronization problems.

b. Allow for different hardware because different video cards and display monitors may affect how well the profile works.

c. Try to create the user profile on a computer that has the same type of video hardware as the users who will have the profile.

d. Create a single mandatory profile for a group of users only if all computers have the same video hardware.
