even I've checked the availabilty of the php in the site and the site supports php 100%??

I'm looking for a batch file which will execute a command to every file in a directory, one by one:

c:\batch\command.exe -blah filename.wmv -output filename.avi

I have 20+ filenames.wmv in the same directory :(

I want to issue a SQL statement that will run an external batch file. I can locate the file on the SQL server if necessary. This is because the business app I'm using allows me to attach a SQL command to any field, but not an external program to run. Thus I would like to write a SQL statement to run an external program.

I have a snipit of javaScript running right under the tag. The script works great... but in IE the script shows up as a blank line at the top of my document and is pushing my page down about 20 pixels... I tried a few CSS tricks but its not fixing the problem... Anyone know how to fix this.

im trying to make a webpage and i dont know if what im thinking is possible. im just wondering if its possible to run a program in a webpage. My sister is a programmer and she had this keygenerator thing. Hello,
Im trying to write a batch file to copy files from a Network Drive to a Pocket PC.
When i run it, it says 'R:\GOLD' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

What have i done wrong - i've pasted the text from the batch file below.

I want to create a database to track my clients. I work for and life insurance company, as an assistant. I collected client info, order meds, track progress, track agents product. I would like the database to be able to assist me with this. I just don't know where to start. Should I use a web based database, or something like access. How do I know what features fit me best? I am paying for this out of pocket so cost is an issue. I have computer skills, it just seems like this area is quite forgie to me.

I want to build a website like habbo hotel. I do not want it to be my career or anything, but I still want to make it. I know a little bit about HTML. I am only 11 and I really can't go to a game company. I was wondering if there were any books that could help me. I live in Kansas, and I need a name of a book, and a store that would have it. Or if there is any website to help that would be great too. I understand HTML but I just don't understand how to actually get the website started. Please help. Thank you. Ps. This question requires someone who is knowledgeable about the CIS (Computer Information Systems) industry and environment. I am a CIS major now in a state school. I will be graduating in a little over a year. It is my goal to someday become a systems analyst. I know a little bit of everything, like Visual Basic, html, C++, javascript, C#, Oracle, and php. I desperately want to get a job in CIS because I want to get my major career path started, and so I can use the information I learn on a daily and practical basis.

However, I do not feel qualified in any one area to get a CIS job. So I want to work on sharpening my skills in one area. My goal is to work hard on focusing on this area, so that, in a few months, I can get an entry level CIS job.

Can anyone make a recommendation, given my goals, as to what area/language/etc I should study and practice?

NOTE: I don't want to hear about the new trend in the future, I want to hear about what would get me a job today if I had the skill.
