In Internet Explorer
Click on Tools
Click on Internet Options
Click on Advanced tab
Scroll down and locate JAVA
under that you will see various boxes check and un check as you want.

After finishing click on OK and close

You can disable JavaScript. To do that, click Tools, Internet Options in IE. Open the Security tab. Select the Internet zone and click Custom Level. You will find seven settings for Scripting. Disable them all. You could set them back to Default Level when you need them.

If you are using Firefox Click on Edit/Preferences/Content

uncheck the "Enable Javascript" box
