I need to build a user-managed web site for a local non-profit. I'd like to set up a Content Management System to let them write and upload content (text, pictures, and possibly audio) themselves. I'm very proficient with XHTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript, but I've never used a CMS before, and I need some help choosing one.
The key requirements are as follows: it has to run on a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) setup. The server isn't super-fast in terms of processing, so the CMS needs to implement some kind of caching. It has to be easy to use; things like automatic image-resizing and spellcheck would be great. It doesn't need to automatically support blogging (we're mostly talking about pages here as opposed to posts), but I'd prefer that it did. If it could automatically accept and track donations, possibly via PayPal, that would be super awesome.
Drupal, Mambo, WebGUI, Joomla!, Plone, etc. -- which is best for us?
