first thing is to find out if any printing companies will take a pc formated job. I work at a printing company, we take them, but we cringe at the thought of what kind of work is needed to get the print job to work. I mainly referring to Microsoft programs: MS Word; Publisher(the worst); and Power Point. Publisher & Power Point both print as rgb, so you will color issues when somebody goes to print them at a shop.

So if you are using Microsofts programs, you will need to educate yourself on how to make a press ready PDF's using pro version of acrobat. As long as the pdf is hi res, cmyk, and fonts are embedded, you should be able to make a pdf to send to where ever you plan to have them printed without any problems.

If you do not have a full version of acrobat then you might as well look into buying the adobe creative suite. Using INDESIGN is the best program for print and can be used to make web pages too. It comes with ILLUSTRATOR, ACROBAT, and PHOTOSHOP. The adobe programs are the best for press work, however they are not cheap.

hope this helps out!
