in photoshop, if you turned an image into .jpeg format (from .pict format) can one only open the image to view it if they have photoshop? If so, how can I adjust it so that anyone can view it even if they do not have photoshop?

I was renaming images on my website then front page gave me an error saying it is going to have to close on me.......no specific error code :(
When I opened front page again it didnt have the web page files anymore.....when I go to my website it gives me this http://www.passion4myart.com

How the heck do I fix that? The browser window is the same size as it was before, but the page inside the window is so small it Isn't even legible. I don't know how to fix that. Anybody willing to share their brain cells?

even though I have installed flash player 9 and enabled java.

I had to previously downgrade from Explorer 7 so my windows media player would work. I don't know if that is related or not.
