like if it's a long document and I don't want to read the whole thing to look for a certain word how could I do that? So un-technologically savvy, please help? I have a PC if that helps, thanks!

with the word document in question already open, you have two options to search for words in microsoft word:

• press CTRL + F

or

• go to the 'edit' menu and choose 'find'

either of the above will bring up the 'find' box in microsoft word from which you can search through the entire document.

press ctrl +f or in the edit menu choose find/replace.
Then a dialog box appears. You can search for words as well as find and replace them. Please vote for me.
