hi, we are in our senior year at a certain university. we are really having a hard time choosing what topic to pursue. We are planning to discard our present topic, speech-to-text feature for Nokia Seies 60 phones given what happened to the launching of Windows Vista's speech to text feature that went CRAP. Oh well, we are interested in making a thesis that involves Web 2.0 or anything related to web. anny suggestions? Links will also be greatly appreciated.

The Icons and other text become too large and the colors are wrong, such as if I had selected a different resolution, (which I have not) each time the PC is restarted. Each time I select the correct resolution 600 X 800 and check apply. The Icons etc perform correctly until the next time I turn on the PC.

I downloaded stuff for my myspace page. Now my computer is super weak and all vidios/media/music sounds distorted and slow most the time. I asked what to do about 20 minutes ago, and the advice I received was to delete the cookies and to download a free search and destroy program. I deleted the cookies and that did not help. I downloaded the program and scanned... a whole bunch of stuff poped up as dangerous, but when I went to delete these programs, they wanted like 50 bucks? can someone please help me!?! This is not even my computer, and I feal real bad!

l am looking for a free PHP search engine but one that is VERY user friendly. l don't want to have to deal with mySQL if l don't have to or anything complicated. ls there not a simple, straight forward one to load where you just have to change a few settings and load it onto your server. l did one is ASP and it was simple. l have to use PHP in this instance. Does anyone know of a simple free script to use out there?

i have a variable in my movie clip.
when i use trace inside the movie clip it shows the right value but when i use the trace in the root level it's value is undefined.
i think it is a global variable because i didnt use var at the begining.
this isthe script:
on (release){
_root.asd2.gotoAndStop (1);
asd = "windows";
trace (asd);
this.gotoAndStop(2);
}
