I already know a little bit about HTML, and I'm looking to design a web page for the Unreal Tournament GOTY clan that I'm in. Now, I've done a page already and I think it doesn't look too bad - http://www.clanrsa.info/rsaautumncup/index.htm - and from this I know it can be improved. I'm looking to learn CSS and PHP as well so that the site can be used in more ways that one - and I'm looking for any tips and tricks that people have to offer. The things is, when it comes to CSS and PHP I don't honestly know where to start. Can anybody give me the best information as to where to look, and from this can anybody give me some really good pointers as to how to improve the site as a whole?

If so, it would be much appreciated, folks. :D

I play a game called Star Wars Galaxies. In it they are giving a contest where you can make a short film of the game (only of the game) and then try to make some sort of story line out of it.

I have gotten FRAPS, which is a program that allows you to record off games. the basic version only allows me 30 second runs so i need to combine these.

I also have a movie editing program that i'm sure i can do that with.

My problem is this. Most people who would be doing this contest would have a title, who by, and maybe ending credits. (but not needed on the ending credits).

Is there a program or somewhere that someone can tell me that i can download or use online or buy that can do credits and or subtitles (really need at least credits)?

If now, can you tell me a good way to insert them?

Are there any plug and play server softwares on the market that would let me set up a video site like youtube.com? Including Flash conversion and tagging, user accounts and similiar videos and so on. I'd be interested in anything, even if it's just basic functionality.

If I select 4 slides or 6 on a page, the size of the slide does not change. And there is a lot of space available on the page.

I've been putting this off because I'm imagining it to be a huge & difficult task. I love learning about computer stuff. But, I'm just starting out learning how to put a website together (standard one with just a couple of pages of info like class schedule, rates, contact info., etc.). I just dropped them in HD>Library>Fonts, does this mean I have installed them properly?

in the fonts book some of them have a dot icon next to them, does htis mean they are not properly activated?

I have a detailed and texture landscape model, that I would like to export into a 3ds file to add into a game, but every time I do, it loses it's textures, and is gray... I tried putting the textures in the same folder as the object but it still won't work.... What should I do?
