Hi.

I'm not sure from your question where the documents are located. However, you can safely move the files to another location, restart your system, and see if there are any negative affects.

First, backup the entire directory in question. Here's how to do that:

Then create a system boot disk and/or be familiar with booting safe mode just in case the system crashes after you delete the files. Here's what you need to know:

Once you have backed-up the files and created a recovery disk, proceed with deleting the files in question. Then restarted your computer. After startup, check all of your frequently used applications to make sure they open without a problem. Keep the backup files and recovery disk in case there is something you missed.

Also, I recommend you install Microsoft Windows Defender. This will help you maintain the performance of your system.
