Hi people,

I want to upload a flash file into eBay but the file is over 350kb (0.35mb) and I'm afraid it might be quite big and slow to load for some internet user. What do you think would be the ideal size for something to be uploaded into eBay so that it wouldn't be too slow for an average internet to load? Thanks for your help!

i have am hp pavilion mx50 (windows xp) and im gonna get a new desktop since my current computer is outdated and bulky and cant keep up with my high speed internet. what is a good desktop to buy?? i want a desktop with a flat screen and has a fast processor. i want a brand and model number please so i can buy it tomorrow

If not then where do I get MSN Instant Messenger? I have something called Windows Messenger but it doesn't appear to be the same things as MSN.

I can watch shows on abc.com and nbc.com as well as others, but when i go to cbs.com it says

"The page “CBS.com - Innertube” has content of MIME type “audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed."

What can I do so I can watch these shows?? Please give me specifics...I'm not that great with computers.

I'm looking to purchase a Macbook for college because they are so user friendly when it comes to everything media, but also am bringing a self-built PC along that is more for hardcore techincal stuff. Any ideas on how compatable these Macbooks are with PC's?

I recently burned a couple downloaded movies. I am using 2 different types of discs (I had to by new ones, thus 2 types) DVD +R and DVD -R. I also used Windows DVD Burner and Nero (DVD burner first then heard from a friend Nero was better). The discs all play fine on my computer. I just went to play them on my DVD player and for some reason only a few of the discs work. Completely random ones don't work. I'm pretty sure it's not due to the type of disc or the burning program because each type works.

I don't know if certain movies are formatted to be unviewable once they are burned. Any suggestions would be great, I am completely stumped.

and I am going to offline ,after this action starts.

I am finding questions that people have given too much information to one person and have ended up being stalked. A lot of the more naive internet users out there don't realize that what little information is required to track someone down and what is available.

I would like everyone to input on what ways people can protect themselves. I hope people that read this, take our advice and take the necessary precautions.

I have heard too many stories about people being cyberstalked and even stalked IRL. I feel we need to remind those who are oblivious to the dangers on the internet and help them protect themselves.

Would having more than one adaptor per pc help? Like one inside and another USB one?

i heard of p2p programs like imesh, but it was full of spyware, then they created the lite version which is supposedly with no spyware and clean, is it true, and what is a lite version and is there a way to find out if theres spyware on it before you install it .and for the record i hae been using torrents since it was first released i am tired of it, even though its good, but i never tried anything different, so i just wanna know what i am asking, please

Hey! I just purchased a Mac book and have no idea how to expand my windows so that they fit the screen. Windows always has had the little button on the right side you can click and it make any window fit to screen. I appreciate any help you fellow applelites can offer :)

we had a storm w/ lots of lightning, the power only blinked off for a second, now computer won't turn on at all. also the modem box won't turn on and there is burned spot where cord plugs into the diffuser boxand telephone jack. is it completely screwed? if it is, isthere some kind of memory box or something i can remove to retrieve my pics,and programs? i appreciate any help you can give!

on my internet, especially when i look on google, the font/writing is soooooo TINY, it is impossible to read... i cant see it at all... i have no idea how it became that small, and i have no idea how to make it bigger. I went to my computer, control panel, then display... and it said font size, so i put it on large... but it made my other writing large... and not what i download on the internet!
