Depends what type of connection your looking at. Contact you local cable company, phone company, and local dial-up ISP’s. They will all inform you of what you need with their service and tell you the price and speed difference.
Dialup is slow, but works. It uses a phone modem. Cable uses a cable modem and Phone company uses a DSL modem.
Cable and DSL will give you faster speeds.

A wireless router will let you turn your broadband internet service at home wireless. Its usually 50-60 dollars.
