on bit torrent it says the file im downloading is 3 GiB
does it mean Gigabytes? if so will my macbook be okay with it?

I need a notebook card that is 802.11N and can work in the 5Ghz frequency. I thought all 802.11n cards could work in this, but my new Belkin card only seems to work in 2.4 ghz. I need it in 5 to combat interference. Anyone sell anything like this? Thanks!

What is your touch typing speed ? No exaggerations please. If you have a decent typing speed ,how much is it and what sort of practice did you get to reach it ?Mines only 35 wpm without mistakes and about 48 wpm maximum with some mistakes. I am stuck and need to know how increase it.

I understand Fully About the way in which Nvidia 'RANK' There Graphics Cards.

Like; Nvidia Geforce 5 series is much older than a nvidia 8 series. And That a Nvidia 8600GT is worse than an 8800GT

But i dont understand how ATI Rank their cards. Unlike Nvidia.

i get this error..usually at start up..and when i use shutdown -a, the box goes away but the computer stops responding..and i cant shut down.
downloaded microsoft malicious software removal tool but it DID NOT detect any threats.
is it some worm? i have AVG antivirus but it didnt detect.
how the hell do i remove this shut down and restart thing..some1 give me step by step instructions please.
i tries so many stuff that ppl said in forums but it still pops-up!

Okay so i keep getting this stupid error on my computer, the screen will just turn blue, and then it says that there is an error:

*Stop:0x0000008E (0xc0000005, 0xF6357a7E, 0xF5355A20, 0x00000000)

then at the bottom is says file dump: and goes up too 100, then just reboots the computer.... it keeps happening in the middle of whatever i am doing! help please does anyone know what this is?

I have netzero dial-up because where I live I cannot get DSL.. I was just wondering how I can make it as fast as possible.. how to make my modem fast as possible and getting my computer to run smoothly because right now my dial up freezes often and is very slow even though i have netzero highspeed and its on the middle setting.... any help would be appreciated!!

I wasn't copying a CD or DVD or anything like that. On the body of that message it says it has corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and now must be terminated. When I pushed OK the computor freoze. I restartred my computor and it came up again. This time I tryed to hit x to close the box and the computor screen went blank. I shut it off and started it again and this time just hit internet explorer. It went to my homepage and is actually running faster Than before. but of course microsoft c++ runtime shows on my bottom tray. In other words, I can ignore i and it runs fine. I should mention that I had a vundo virus last night but was told how to delete it. I did that last night, this message didn't come til this morning.

Ok well, it happens whenever i am on the internet. I will be looking at something, then go to another page. The status bar will load one bar fully then not go any further. After about a minute or two my computer will completely lock up. Number lock works (on/off) but caps lock or scroll lock lights dont come on. Its worse when downloading something, like limewire. If i download a song, my download speeds will slowly drop and then just dissapear and then computer will lock up. All drivers are installed and have run AVG and had no viruses!!!! It is getting ectremely annoying.

I want to rip music onto my computer so I can put them on my Mp3 using Windows Media, but whenever I try, there is a window mentioning I cannot do this because the CDs I use are 'write protected'.
I think there is an option for this, but I cannot find it!
The version of Windows Media I'm using is version 10.

I was able to do this on the last version, whichever version that was by clicking on "view" and changing the font size to extra large.

Now I just downloaded Internet Explorer 7 on my computer and dont see how to make the font larger .

i have compaq nx6210 laptop.my OS xp sp2.i have lot of issues in my laptop.
1-i cant change my folder option.
i can able 2 view folder option under view & control panel.i can try 2 change folder option in my computer(explore)-tools-folder option-view-(choose)show hidden files and folders.but its autometically goes to ''do not show hidden files and folders'' option within a second.why happend this?any warms?how can i set ''show hidden files and folders'' option?
