on bit torrent it says the file im downloading is 3 GiB
does it mean Gigabytes? if so will my macbook be okay with it?

Gigabytes. If you know so little about computer it is a very bad idea to do P2P.

P2P isn't free music and movies. It is used legitimately to transfer files. Frost bearshare and limewire catter to the lowest intellect users. Torrents appeal to a better breed, but I know friends post files on purpose to keep the bottom fishers out.


Free music isnt free if your 2000 computer is now a paperweight

Yes, 3 Gigs.

Your mac will be fine....the only thing is that depending on your internet connection, this can day a day or two.

it is gigabytes. mac will be fine, but it will take a while.
