now im trying to reinstall windows media player 10, and its just not happening, keeps saying something like format not supported or something like that, please what do i need to do???

in order to see stuff in pdf format? I have recieved some emails that have attachments..and I cant open them. Someone told me I need microsoft word or office installed on my computer to view the attachments. The attachments were made with microsoft word and/or were photos. Please help.

ok so when i join a game everything runs smoothly for a while.
but then i lag a little bit and then i start spiking lag crazy.
my normal lag when i join games is about 50-100
my comp specs are:

Windows XP
AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3200+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.8GHz
446MB RAM
Graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE which is pretty decent
By the way i use the regular internet explorer 9.0

I have this horrible little program under the name of VsAdd-in, which apparently got downloaded to my computer when I downloaded a pc wallpaper, now my computer is going crazy, first this morning when I turned on my computer I thought it was broken because I didn't get any of my icons or the task bar. Finally it came in, and second now I get these stupid pop ups. Please help, does anyone know how to remove this file, I already tried to delete it and it won't let me.

Alright, I am in a huge bind. I know this error is common, and people tell you to do many things, such as copy from the repair folder the system file and paste it into the config folder. Here is my problem. I was able to dual boot from a windows media center, to a windows XP professional. I'm using the professional right now. I can't get into my media center because of the missing system file. I've checked the folder in the windows\system32\config...and the system and system.sav are completely missing. on top of that...they are competely missing in the windows\repair folder. So i have nowhere to copy them from. This computer is new, theres no restore points, no system.bak or system.alt either. Is there a way to create a new system and system.sav registry that will work with media center? Please Help. Thank you guys so much

My sister is moving to Alaska and I would like to setup a web cam on both of our PC's so we could talk to each other and see each other as well. I installed Internet Explorer 7 on my computer and now Windows will not boot. It will take me to my desktop and I can use the Task Manager to get to my programs, but my desktop and start menue will not load. When it first tries to open Windows it tells me there is an error and asks me if I want to send and error report. How can I get Windows working again properly?
