Where are Mozilla bookmarks stored in my computer?

Question

After an automatic update of Mozilla firefox all bookmarks disapeared from the program.

I just to know if there is a location in a computer that the bookmarks are stored as a file in order to import them again..

The file is called bookmarks.html, do a search on it.

Depending on OS and version, this can be in various places, see:

The bookmarks are stored in a file called bookmarks.html which is stored in your profile folder.
Usually you will find the profile under

C:\Documents and Settings\\
Application Data\Mozilla\
profiles\
