i've noticed that after browsing, i have a lot of useles internet files accummulated on my hard drive. how do i prevent this from happening and is it safe to just delete them right after browsing without compromising my interenet settings/connections?

I have about 20 audio books or spoken word audio files on my hard drive which i want to put onto disc so i can listen to them on long car journeys. All the files are in mp3 format but range in length from approx 5 hours to over 12 hours. Using the Nero "oscilloscope" i can split the file into however many parts i want. I have tried anything from 30 minute splits to 70 minute splits, and that part is fine, but the second i try to burn 1 of these split parts onto the first disc, it just gives an error msg about the file being too large. Its as if it cannot see only the split part, instead of the whole file. I have burned and copied dvd files on nero, so i am not too unfamilar with it, but this is driving me crazy, having spent countless hours trying.

Any help would be much appreciated.

p.s. nothing in the programs help or faq

I have a friend who repairs computers and he does a good job at it… except that he has a PC repair certificate. He is not A+ certified. So should I tell him not to look at my computer anymore until he gets his A+ certification?

Looking around Yahoo! Answers I read that the D:/ drive either plays Cds/DVDs or it is used to store system recovery files. I have an E:/ drive for CDs/DVDS. So I assume the D:/ drive holds the system recovery files. If I format it will I lose those files? And if so, is there a way I can format only SOME of the drive for other use and keep the rest for system recovery. The D:/ drive has about 45GB and so far it is only using up about 400mb. I would really like to use those other GBs. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS!

how can i log in in the admin account, the hidden one, but not in safe mode. i wanna use this account in the normal mode. i use a computer admin account right now but i dont seem to have full hold of the applications.. when i right click a folder, i dont see the security tab, and i need that security tab coz im doin some database project. ineed to change security settings for my program to be able to update database... but the main administrator account has that feature but it is only available in safe mode. is there any way that i can log in on that main admin account in the normal mode?????

My boyfriend built his computer but today hes had trouble with it ever since he installed a firewall for it. nothing works and cant get windows xp to install as it will freeze then the computer will just turn off. he thinks itst he hard drives... what can we do to fix it? any suggestions?
