Sounds like you need new drivers for your sound card , go to the manufacturers website and look for a download for vista.

maybe u should download driver for ur sound card.u can test using driver for xp.because not all driver require vista edition driver.i use p driver only n its run well.another one,check your volume and output device.

You must have your sound card drivers installed. Have a look for a sound card driver cd or a cd which came with your pc which would have them on it

you need to download vista drivers for your sound card. if you know who makes your motherboard (integrated sound) or sound card check there site for vista drivers.
