Windows XP proffessional Freezes When on the web?

Question

When I go on the web, I am unable to click on anything, curser moves, no response if I Click on anything, Whats wrong here.This happens on my other computer.

it freezes and does not crash.
the computer has too many things running at once try one or two programs at a time instead of 5 spreadsheets, 3 email, 3 word files.
if you have only the web browser running, then check the proxy server, anti-virus, anti-spyware, delete the temporary files cache, defrag the hard drive.
