All the time, when I'm on the internet, it for no apparent reason tends to freeze and then a minute later automatically closes down. Then, a second later I get the program is not responsive message...It's annoying and is very frequent. I have multiple spyware programs (spyware blaster, spyware doctor, super antispyware etc.) and the latest Norton Antivirus. I scan all of the time.
1 Why is my computer doing this and what can I do to prevent this from happening in the future? Thanks!

I just got my computer back from my husbands house and now I feel like my computer is running different and this pop up came on and said someone was trying to log on to my computer could he have done something to my computer so he can see what I am doing on my computer . He lives in one house across town and I live in another house on the other side of town.

My cd burner on my computer will burn a cd, but it won't read a cd. I have tons of stuff that I've saved on cd's, but I can't use any of it because my cd drive just won't read them anymore. So, instead of spending a lot of money on a new hard drive, I was wondering if I could buy an external cd drive. Does anyone know if that will work? It's not that I'm a cheapskate, I'm just on a budget and can't afford a new computer.

When you need to rotate an object by(45,30,20) degrees for respective axis, X,Y,Z

Is it right to first do the following on every coordinate:

x' = x
y' = y cos(45) - z sin(45)
z' = y sin (45) + z cos(45)

Then do the following for each coordinate:
x' = x cos(30) + z sin(30)
y' = y
z' = -x sin(30) + z cos (30)

After that we do the following on each coordinate:
x' = x cos(20) - y sin(20)
y'= x sin(20) + y cos(20)
z' = z

I don't know what to do. Please help.

We run Windows XP with 5 user accounts. The account in question is the only one that uses AIM (Aol Instant Messenger)
Her Icons are all screwed up. They show some of one and half of another. ????

I already right-clicked>properties>change Icon
and set to default
But that only fixed some of them.
All her Icons are like that.
I Don't want whatever it is to Spread.
What should I do to fix it?

I know it sounds like a retarted question but I get in arguments about it all the time, I dont think the computer could store all those but its something they uise in movies and on tv to catch the "Bad guy" all the time..So to settle the argument is this possible? Or just movie crap? I will pick a best answer not just let this thing sit I promise.

every time i turn my computer on i keep gettin an error message it says this application has failed to start because psystray.pyd was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. What do i do i have no idea how to get this annoying message to go away please help

i cant get on to my ebay. it wont open it always takes along time and coems up with page not found. i tried another computer (neighbor and it works), i can open ebay.com and search but cant watch item, bid etc. or get to my ebay. what can be the problem??

also i have been gettin problems of having a full c drive, even after using the windows maintainance prgrams, ccleaner. Defragmentation lasts only seconds and all the red bits dont turn blue, infact most of it is red(fragmented). But my internet and pc games are all fast. I have removed all the unnescesarry programs and have installed them on my external 250GB(which i have partitioned). I have also checked using AVG and Lavasoft ad-aware...and have no viruses. what is goin on?!?...this is a problem as , even though every thing is fast, i cant print,burn discs or do scans, and being an art student i need these things. I have also been getting 'invalid.boot ini. file' at the startup...

I have a TP Link (TL-WR542G) router and TP Link card for my Toshiba Laptop. It says that it is connected, but I cannot get the page to come up. (Page not available offline I believe). I also have very strong signal. I am working with BellSouth DSL if that helps? Thanks!

I was typing an email and I think I accidentally hit the Fn key, or the Alt key? My screen went black for a second and then it came back with everything huge! I can't get it to go back. My desktop icons are monster size too...

I was horrified this morning as my son scanned through the images on the computer in the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. I could not believe the images that had been captured on our computer. Someone told me that all types of advertisements and whatever could be there. I wanted to know how to clean out such images and/or video that may have stored itself on my computer.
I looked through the files on the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer but I did not see how to clean it.
