Dear Emely,
If you have a computer at work chances are that you had to sign a privacy agreement in which you permit your company to monitor your activities at work. The first thing I would do is to check again the written agreement. The second think is to actually do a google search on Network Security Software and find out the names of the possible software bundles out there; then, I would ask some network admin if they have it installed on their servers. The most extreme solution is to look at a 'pornographic' website and see what happens--I would not advise this. Hope this helps

it's possible. there's a couple ways.
either they could have installed pc monitoring software so they can watch your screen at any time without you knowing, or they could just be logging all the urls you visit at the firewall level. guess it comes down to how paranoid your boss is.

Only if they have the software to do this. You wont be able to find out wether they have it or not unless you talk directly to your boss or someone who installed it. Hope this helps, Brodster

Your IT Technician can see every website that you visit because his computer keeps track of I.P. addresses and web sites that you look at. Don't do something that your not supposed to be doing.
