I have purchased LG Dvd writer for my office computer & also DVD Player to my home to view Rented movie DVD cds.

I am already having CD writer. I usally copy movie files from VCD to computer & i will write it to another VCD when i needed && i will play it in CD player which is connected to T.V only. ( to write dat into VCD is use Nero Express by selecting - Video/Pictures - Video CD - Add - Next, Burn.

But now i was unable to write the same DAT file into my DVD writer. While try it i got the error such as etc., only Video_ts.ifo, Video_ts.vob, Video_ts.bvp, etc., can writen into Video_ts folder.

I have to write movie files to 4.7 GB DVD. Please advice is there is any specific software to write DAT files in dvd, if so please advise software which is available for FREE.

I apology to yahoo answer team because i have already ask above ? and got answer - as i was new to computer world I have not asked the question properly. I am learning computer for past 6 month's only.

i am trying to burn movies to a dvd that will play in my dvd player. its not compatible with avi or vcd, i used a program to convert avi files to dvd format and i got two ifo files and two backups of those ifo's and four mpeg files i try to burn using nero vision Ive tried version two three and four) and it inevitably fais in the burning process. iv'e converted to all sorts of formats and tried to burn because i have the dvd plugins for nero which should convert the files by itself and it still wont work.. any help would be appreciated.

My Dad is 90 years old. He often calls and would like help on minor computer software like excel, word, etc. I think I could resolve most of the problems if I could see his screen from my location. What ever software would be necessary probably would have to be installed on his computer also so I would like it to be as simple as possible. Have any ideas?

I have a surge protecter, but I live in the country and our power poles and lines are subject to damage from high winds, falling trees and drunken cowboys in pick-ups. So our power comes and goes a lot. I thought if the PC is turned off it would be safe if the power surged. Not so? Why is it bad to turn it off at night and back on the next day?

an is that even my prob.i am downloading music from lime wire an using media player to burn cds an jst yesterday it quit burning them an when i asked yesterday how do i fix the prob. ppl on here told me to run an check for spy wear i did an the stuff it said was on there i clicked the button that said fix prob. an it fixed that prob BUT i still cant burn cds i know my cd burner works cause i have done 2 cds but wen i tried to do a third one it wouldnt work it wouldnt move past "inspecting" i NEED HELP PLEASE someone who KNOWS

Ok while I was using my computer, it auto-matically came up a BLUE SCREEN with white words saying
" A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If problems continues disable or remove any newly installed hardware/software. Disable BIOs memory options such as caching or shadowing.

I have blank DVDs and I made myself a DVD, and I would like to make a label for it with LightScribe. I don't know if I can use LightScribe on a regular disc though. Does LightScribe sell blank LIghtScribe DVDs like they do with CDs?

I am trying to clear an SD card...It had files for my old dell axim x5 pda on...I have deleted the tomtom prorams but one file still persists and will not be deleted....I also created a folder to view movies in windows media player...the folder itself will not delete even though I am given the option...The media player files inside the folder wont even give me the option of deletion....I want the whole SD card wiped and empty...HELP!

I went to "view" and then "full screen". Now I cant undo it because the "view" button is not at the top anymore. How can I change it back?
