you know when you right click on the desktop and go to properties. then you see tabs on the properties box called desktop, screen saver, appearence, effects, web, and settings.
i cannot change my appearence on my computer and when i do my computer freezes, this never happened before. also my screensaver(which is a very simple one) freezes. do i have a virus and what should i do to fix it.

I looked up something disgusting that i should have never looked up off of yahoo now i dont anyone to find out because when i type the letter b all the stuff i used for comes off and there is something disgusting i dont want them to see i wana get it out of my computer its not a virus its where you wana find something off of a website and you type a letter and whatever matchs that letter comes up can someone help me please?

We're suing a former employer, and these emails are needed desperately. I have cleaned out my sent files and trash files, and have defragged several times since then. I'm using the new beta version of Yahoo. I HAVE to get these files. Where and how can I get these?

i.e I have about 600 tunes in a folder in My Music. If isimply Copy & Paste, it's going to do the files, which is not what I want to do. How can i select the written info for copy & paste to a Word document so I can list them all ready to print? I hope that makes sense.

Ok, so now that I have your attention..... HELP...
Running WindowsME

I looked into the .....Run feature, and typed in Regedit. Up came registry editor.... My question is....Is it normal to have two occurences of most programs in there? example. outlookexpress.html ......then...outlookexpress.html.1.......there are multiple occurances of different programs in such patterns.

OR ..... is it safe to delete the second copy of these programs, of course watching very carefully that it is an exact copy, and not just a similarity.

Then if I do end up screwing something up will the recovery CD fix any problems.

When I right click on the file, it won't give me an option to delete it. I have been trying to delete the directory containing the file, and the computer says it cannot find the file to delete! Is there a way to delete these stubborn files? Thanks.

My computer is very slow in opening up anything. My desktop icins sometimes keep on flashing on and of. Even when I do get it going it is difficult to go on line. I even have a difficult time opening any window like for example word or recycle bin.
Please help. I cleaned the history, cache and cookies at no avail.
